NORSOK R-003 was last published in 2017, and Standards Norway are now requesting the industry's opinions on whether it should be revised, withdrawn, internationalized or confirmed as is.

The pre-enquiry does not request details, but rather information on subjects that are out of date, incorrect or should be added because of technological developments since the previous publication. The responsible NORSOK committee EG RL Lifting equipment proposes the standard to be revised.

We also ask the industry to nominate candidates to participate in the potential revision process.
