Meeting room guideline

This page provides a simple overview of how to connect your PC to the meeting room equipment, select the correct audio, video and camera sources, adjust display settings, and troubleshoot common issues. It can be used as a quick guide for both employees and guests using the meeting room.

USB-C

When using USB-C, all data traffic and power go through the same cable. This includes:

  • Image
  • Audio
  • Microphone
  • Camera
  • Power to the PC, where supported

 

USB-A + HDMI

Not all installations support data transfer via USB-C. Experience issues?
Try USB-A and HDMI instead.

With this connection, the signals are distributed as follows:

  • USB-A: Audio, microphone, and camera
  • HDMI: Image

 

Sources

Select the correct sources in Teams or another meeting program.

Camera:

  • Yealink UVC84
  • Huddly IQ

Audio and microphone:

  • Yealink UVC84 Audio
  • Crestron-UC-Soundbar
  • Biamp Tesira EX-UBT

 

Changing display settings

Change screen resolution

  • Right-click on the desktop and select “Display settings”.
  • Click the screen for which you want to change the resolution.
  • Select the recommended resolution.

Change screen order

  • Right-click on the desktop and select “Display settings”.
  • Click and hold the screen you want to move.
  • Drag it to the desired position.

 

Troubleshooting

No audio or microphone
Check that the correct speaker, microphone, and camera are selected in the meeting program. See the “Sources” section.

Camera shows background or effect
Turn off background effects in Teams or another meeting program.

The screen flickers or cuts out
First try another PC to see whether the problem is resolved.

Internal: If the problem still occurs, create a case in Service Desk.

 

Guest network

The guest network is called: SN-Guest

Connect to the network and register your mobile number.
