We develop, publish and manage standards in most areas of society. We are Norway's member in ISO and CEN, and publish NORSOK and Norsk Standard (Norwegian Standard).
The NORSOK Workshop Agreement (WA) on HSEQ evaluation of suppliers and HSEQ requirements in contract, is being revised into a standard. Standards Norway invites the industry to submit their feedback on the document by 1 March.
A new generation of Eurocodes is under development and will be completed by 2027. In Norway, the new Eurocodes, along with their national annexes, will be published collectively at the beginning of 2028. Until then, the current generation of Eurocodes will remain the applicable standard.
The Norwegian standard NS 9610, which outlines requirements for fall protection and rescue training for work at heights, is now available in English. This move aims to make the standard accessible to a broader audience and support international collaboration in safety practices for working at heights.
