NORSOK U-100 Diving Operations - Open for enquiry
The standard NORSOK U-100:2026 Diving Operations is now open for enquiry, and Standards Norway invites the industry to submit comments by 18 November 2026.
The standard defines basic requirements for personnel, equipment and systems for diving operations within the petroleum industry, and covers diving down to 180 msw. For diving deeper than 180 msw, special consideration, evaluations and mitigating actions, some of which are specified in this standard, are required.
Second round of enquiry
An amendment to NORSOK U-100:2023 was previously developed and published for enquiry from December 2025 to February 2026. Due to the extent of the changes, it was decided to submit the consolidated document for a new round of public consultation. As this is the second enquiry round, the enquiry period has been set to four weeks.
