NORSOK R-001 is revised and on public enquiry
NORSOK R-001 Mechanical Equipment has been updated to reflect technological advancements. We invite the industry to provide their comments and feedback to the enquiry draft by 6 May.
NORSOK R-001 describes technical requirements for the design, manufacturing, assembling, product inspection, and installation and testing of mechanical equipment, except lifting equipment.
The standard has now undergone a revision process, and the committee has prepared a draft which is out for public review until 6 May.
Key changes
The standard has been updated to reflect technological advancements. All reference standards have also been updated.
The standard now has a new structure and chapter division in accordance with current NORSOK standard guidelines.
